Pandu College was established in 1962. Since 1964, elections have been regularly conducted at Pandu College. The student union body comprises a total of 15 posts, and many former union members have since established themselves successfully.
The college has a students' union known as the Pandu College Students' Union Society (PCSUS). Every student of the college is a member of the society. The office bearers are elected annually by the students through a direct election conducted in accordance with the guidelines laid down by the Supreme Court of India. Many former union members are now well established.
The Students' Union organizes various events, including the Freshers' Social, Annual College Week, cultural functions, debates and symposia, literary activities, and social service activities. The society also publishes the college magazine, Pandujyoti, annually, featuring creative contributions from both students and teachers.
