Department at a glance
Pandu College started the Department of Hindi on 1963 and Dr. Tarakant Jha joined as the founder faculty members of the department and contributed a lot for the department.
The Department is to popularize Hindi through providing opportunities for higher studies. It seeks to develop human resources in the field of Hindi-oriented job opportunities and to strengthen national unity and integrity. The department gives importance to Hindi as a Link Language, Official language ,National Language as well as International language. At present the Department offers both honours and general courses in the undergraduate level.
